About Perfumes


Yes, all perfumes sold at The Scent Stories are 100% authentic. We source our fragrances from authorized distributors and trusted suppliers. We do not deal in counterfeit, fake, or replica perfumes. Every miniature, sample, and full-size retail pack listed on our website is genuine and original.

Miniatures are official small-size bottles produced by the brand, usually ranging from 3.5ml to 10ml. They are original branded bottles, just in a compact size.

Samples, on the other hand, are smaller tester vials (typically 0.6ml–3ml) designed for fragrance trials and scent exploration before committing to a full-size bottle.

Yes, miniatures are authentic brand-produced bottles. They are not decants and are not refilled. These are official miniature versions created by the perfume brands themselves.

No, we do not sell decants. At The Scent Stories, we only offer official brand miniatures, brand-issued samples, and full-size retail packs.

EDT (Eau de Toilette) contains a lighter concentration of perfume oils and usually offers a fresher, softer projection.

EDP (Eau de Parfum) has a higher concentration of fragrance oils and typically lasts longer with a richer scent profile.

Orders


Sure, here are step-by-step instructions for placing an order


  • Add perfumes to your cart.
  • Log in or create an account.
  • Proceed to checkout.
  • Enter shipping details.
  • Choose shipping method.
  • Provide payment information.
  • Apply any discounts or gift cards.
  • Review your order.
  • Place your order.

You can try the following steps to check the status of your order:


Order Confirmation Email: Check your email for an order confirmation email from the e-commerce website. It usually contains details about your order, including a tracking number if applicable.


Log into Your Account: If you created an account on the website during the checkout process, log in and navigate to the "Order History" or "My Orders" section. Here, you should find information about your recent orders and their current status.


Contact Customer Support: If you can't find any order details or need further assistance, reach out to the customer support team of the e-commerce website. They can help you track your order and provide updates on its status.


Track Your Package: If your order has shipped and you have a tracking number, you can use it to track the package's delivery status on the shipping carrier's website.


Remember to have your order number or any relevant information handy when contacting customer support, as it will help them assist you more efficiently.

Unfortunately, no changes are allowed once the order is placed

Orders once confirmed can’t be cancelled.

  2. Go to "Order History" or "My Orders."
  3. Select the desired order.
  4. Click "Reorder" or "Order Again."
  5. Review your cart.
  6. Proceed to checkout.

Delivery  


Typically, you should wait for about 48 hours after placing your order to allow the shipping carrier to process and provide the tracking details. If, after 48 hours, you still haven't received any tracking information or if there are any issues with the tracking details, then it's a good idea to contact Customer Support for further assistance.

We ship the package to the default/address provided while placing an order

  • Check the delivery location and with neighbours.
  • Look for delivery notifications.
  • Wait a little longer, as it may arrive later.
  • Contact the shipping carrier for more details.
  • Contact the customer support for assistance.


Returns and Replacements  



Perfumes are not returnable, due to hygiene and safety reasons, as well as the risk of product tampering. Since perfumes are personal care products, they cannot be resold once they have been opened or used. 

  • Contact Customer Support immediately.
  • Provide order details and item information.
  • Take photos (if possible) as evidence.
  • Follow instructions for returns or replacements.
  • Be patient while we investigate.

Incase you have opted for EMI facility your card will be charged automatically in each billing cycle till the amount is paid.

  • Find the order containing the invoice.
  • Click "View Invoice."
  • Download the invoice if available.

International Orders

Yes. The Scent Stories® now ships to select international destinations. We are based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India and dispatch all orders from our facility there.

International shipping charges are calculated on actuals based on your delivery address, package weight, and courier rates. The exact shipping cost will be displayed at checkout before you complete your payment — there are no hidden charges added after purchase.

All customs duties, import taxes, and any other charges levied by your country's customs authority are entirely the responsibility of the buyer. The Scent Stories® ships from India and declares all shipments accurately at their full value. We are unable to under-declare shipment value or mark orders as gifts to avoid customs. Please check your country's import regulations before placing an order.

Every product sold by The Scent Stories® is 100% authentic and brand-packaged — factory-sealed by the original brand, never decanted or repackaged by us. We do not sell clones, inspired-by fragrances, or counterfeits. All products are sourced through authorised channels and shipped in their original brand packaging. This applies equally to all domestic and international orders.

All international orders are packed securely with bubble wrap and protective outer packaging to withstand transit. Fragile items such as glass bottles and miniatures receive additional cushioning. Every order includes a packing slip. We take full care to ensure your order arrives in the same condition it left our facility.

All claims, disputes, and grievances related to international orders are governed by The Scent Stories® standard website policies — the same policies that apply to all domestic orders. This includes our returns policy, refund policy, and general terms of service. By placing an international order, you agree that any disputes will be resolved exclusively as per our published policies. No separate or additional terms apply to international buyers.
