Biehl Parfumkunstwerke is an independent German niche house, commissioning world-class perfumers to create uncompromising, artist-driven compositions with exceptional raw materials.
Opens with a bitter, herbal sparkle of Campari, wormwood and angelica, edged with thyme and a twist of orange. Soon a smoky, supple leather emerges, given an animalic depth by castoreum. The dry-down softens into warm amber, tonka bean and vanilla, which round off the bitterness with a powdery, musky glow. It feels bold, aromatic and quietly unconventional. Best for cool evenings, autumn and winter, and moments when you want a scent with character rather than polish.
