About Caroline Dumur
Caroline Dumur is a perfumer at IFF. She grew up on her grandparents' farm in northern France, surrounded by the smells of flowers, hay, cheese and animals. She took a chemistry degree specialising in fragrance and flavours, followed by a master's degree from ISIPCA. Her portfolio now covers more than 60 fragrances for designer and niche brands.
Her style is described as intuitive and colourful, with a taste for dark, mysterious associations and warm, freshly distilled materials. She has created several scents in Chloé's Nomade line, including Nomade Naturelle (2022) and Nomade Jardin d'Égypte (2025). Her other work includes Rabanne Pure XS (2017) and Christian Louboutin Loubimar Légère (2022). For Masque Milano she composed Love Kills (2019).
