About Cécile Matton

Cécile Matton is a senior perfumer at Mane. She began mixing her own blends as a teenager, using essences bought from Pier Import shops in France. Before Mane she worked at IFF and Givaudan. Her career took off early with Yves Saint Laurent Baby Doll (2000) and Valentino Gold (2002). Mane named her its Perfumer of the Year in 2018.

Matton moves easily between big designer launches and smaller artistic brands. Her biggest commercial success is Emporio Armani Stronger With You (2017). It has since grown into a large family of flankers. She also composed Viktor&Rolf Bonbon (2014) and Diptyque Venise (2021). For Etat Libre d'Orange she created Remarkable People (2015) and Exit The King (2020).
