dsm-firmenich is one of the world's largest fragrance and flavour companies, headquartered in Geneva. It traces back to 1895, when Philippe Chuit and Martin Naef founded Chuit & Naef in Geneva. Fred Firmenich joined in 1900 and the company became Firmenich SA. In May 2023 Firmenich merged with the Dutch company DSM to form dsm-firmenich.
