About Francis Deleamont
Francis Deleamont is a French perfumer who began his career at Givaudan and later joined Firmenich. At Givaudan he worked for the Spanish designers Angel Schlesser and Roberto Verino. At Firmenich his clients included the Paris jeweller Boucheron and the niche house Parfums de Marly.
He was noted early on for unconventional ingredient pairings, and his fragrances are known for complexity and staying power. His best-known work is the first Boucheron fragrance (1988), followed by Boucheron Pour Homme (1991). Later credits include Oud Save The Queen for Atkinsons (2013) and Darley for Parfums de Marly. He also created Chatoyant for the beauty brand Rouge Bunny Rouge. His fragrances often open with bright citrus over dense floral hearts.
Francis Deleamont created the original Boucheron fragrance (1988), Boucheron Pour Homme (1991), Atkinsons Oud Save The Queen (2013), Parfums de Marly Darley and Rouge Bunny Rouge Chatoyant.
