About Givaudan
Givaudan is a Swiss fragrance and flavour company that creates perfume compositions and ingredients for brands worldwide. It was founded in Lyon in 1895 by Léon and Xavier Givaudan and moved to Geneva in 1898. Roche acquired it in 1963 and merged it with Roure in 1991. Givaudan became independent and listed on the Swiss stock exchange in 2000, then acquired Quest International in 2006.
Givaudan's perfumers create fragrances for designer, mass-market and niche brands. The company also trains new perfumers through the Givaudan Perfumery School in Paris. Fragrantica credits the company with Aquolina Pink Sugar (2004). Other company-credited launches include Tom Ford White Patchouli (2008) and Soleil Neige (2019), and Ex Nihilo Rose Hubris (2014).
Fragrances credited to Givaudan as a company include Aquolina Pink Sugar (2004), Tom Ford White Patchouli (2008) and Soleil Neige (2019), Katy Perry Meow (2011) and Ex Nihilo Rose Hubris (2014). Its individual perfumers create many more.
The Scent Stories® stocks authentic, brand-packaged samples, miniatures, testers and full bottles of Givaudan's creations. That lets you try a fragrance on your own skin before buying a full bottle.
