About Jo Malone
Jo Malone is a British fragrance entrepreneur, born in 1963 and raised in Bexleyheath, south-east London. She trained as a facial therapist and opened a facial clinic in 1983. Scented products she made by hand for clients led to her first shop on Walton Street in October 1994. She sold Jo Malone London to Estée Lauder in 1999 and stayed as creative director until 2006.
She launched a second brand, Jo Loves, in 2011. Her first scented product was a Nutmeg & Ginger bath oil for clients. Lime Basil & Mandarin became her best-known and best-selling fragrance. She was appointed MBE in 2008 and CBE in 2018. Her autobiography, My Story, was published in 2016. Jo Loves opened its first shop in Belgravia in 2013.
Jo Malone founded Jo Malone London, whose best-selling fragrance is Lime Basil & Mandarin. Her first scented product was a Nutmeg & Ginger bath oil. She sold the brand in 1999 and launched Jo Loves in 2011.
