About Louise Turner
Louise Turner is a perfumer at Givaudan, born and raised in Kent in the south of England. She was studying for a dentistry degree when a temporary job at Quest, now part of Givaudan, drew her into perfumery. She has worked at Givaudan since 2000. Her clients have included Carolina Herrera, Roberto Cavalli, Mugler and Maison Margiela.
Her style is described as joyful, luminous and uplifting. She often draws on orange blossom, jasmine, wisteria and tuberose, and is known for evoking the texture of petals. Her childhood favourites were honeysuckle and lilac. Her most popular work is Carolina Herrera Good Girl (2016), and she also worked on Bad Boy (2019) and Very Good Girl (2021). Her other credits include Maison Margiela Lazy Sunday Morning (2013) and Tom Ford Lost Cherry (2018).
