About Michèle Saramito
Michèle Saramito is a French perfumer born in Cannes to a family of perfumers with roots in Grasse. She trained at Robertet's internal perfumery school and joined the company in 1976 as a perfumer's assistant. She rose to senior perfumer during a career of nearly five decades there, and mentors younger Robertet perfumers such as Mathieu Nardin.
Saramito also paints and draws, and treats each fragrance as a story. She likes unconventional pairings over fresh citrus, jasmine, patchouli and vanilla. In 1986 she created Ptisenbon for Tartine et Chocolat, an early children's fragrance. Later credits include Ambre Premier for Jovoy Paris and Godolphin for Parfums de Marly, a fruity leather scent.
Michèle Saramito created Godolphin for Parfums de Marly, Ambre Premier for Jovoy Paris, Casamorati 1888 and the children's fragrance Ptisenbon for Tartine et Chocolat (1986). She has also worked on fragrances for Amouage.
The Scent Stories® stocks authentic, brand-packaged samples, miniatures, testers and full bottles of Michèle Saramito's creations, so you can try a fragrance on your own skin before buying a full bottle.
