About Nicolas Beaulieu
Nicolas Beaulieu is a French perfumer who first studied archaeology. He then trained at ISIPCA and the IFF perfumery school. He worked at Laboratoire Monique Rémy, a natural ingredients subsidiary of IFF, and later in Holland, New York and Shanghai. He returned to Paris in 2008. After years at IFF, most recently as vice president perfumer, he joined Symrise in October 2025.
He calls himself an archaeologist of scent and draws on gastronomy, wine and history. He favours powerful trails and concise formulas. His work includes Clinique Aromatics in White (2014) and Lancôme La Vie Est Belle Intensément (2020). He also worked on Carolina Herrera Bad Boy Le Parfum (2021) and Rabanne Invictus Victory Elixir (2023). Other credits include Salvatore Ferragamo Signorina Misteriosa and Halloween Man X.
