About Olivier Creed
Olivier Creed is a French perfumer and the sixth generation of the family behind the House of Creed. He was born in Nice and studied art at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris. He began working in perfumery at 18, encouraged by his father and grandmother, and took over the fragrance side of the family business. He then grew Creed from a bespoke house into an international brand, working alongside his son Erwin.
His work for the house spans fresh colognes, woody scents and richer spiced blends. Green Irish Tweed (1985) and Silver Mountain Water (1995) remain two of Creed's most recognised fragrances. Millésime Impérial (1995), Original Santal (2005), Spice and Wood (2010) and Viking (2017) show the breadth of the catalogue. Fragrantica also credits perfumer Pierre Bourdon on several of the earlier Creed classics.
Olivier Creed is credited with many House of Creed fragrances. They include Green Irish Tweed (1985), Silver Mountain Water (1995) and Millésime Impérial (1995). Later releases include Spice and Wood (2010), Viking (2017) and Aventus Cologne (2018).
The Scent Stories® stocks authentic, brand-packaged samples, miniatures, testers and full bottles of Olivier Creed's creations. This lets you try his perfumes on your own skin before you commit to a full bottle.
