About Paolo Terenzi
Paolo Terenzi is an Italian perfumer and the creative force behind Tiziana Terenzi, the brand he runs with his sister Tiziana. The family has made artistic goods for three generations. His grandfather was a candlemaker, and his father, Evelino, added scented candles to the business in 1968. Paolo travelled and played guitar before joining the family trade. At 25 he began learning perfumery from his grandfather Guglielmo.
Terenzi works mainly with natural raw materials collected on his travels. His scents draw on personal memories, such as childhood in Brazil and family holidays in Italy and Greece. The brand's names follow a celestial theme of constellations and stars. Well-known creations include Kirkè (2015), Orion (2015) and Orza (2020). Laudano Nero (2014) and Foconero (2017) are also his.
