About Philippine Courtière
Philippine Courtière is a Parisian perfumer who divides her time between Dubai and Paris. She first studied law, completing a master's degree in 2008. She then trained at the Firmenich perfumery school, guided by Francis Kurkdjian, Michel Almairac and Jacques Cavallier. She worked at Firmenich from 2009 to 2021, becoming a perfumer in 2014. In September 2021 she joined Symrise's creative team in Dubai.
Her work moves between Western designer brands and Middle Eastern houses. Rose recurs often in her portfolio. Notable creations include Goutal Rose Pompon Eau de Toilette (2016) and Atkinsons Gold Fair in Mayfair (2018). She also composed Chloé Narcissus Poeticus (2021) and Thameen The Rose (2022). For Kayali she created Lovefest Burning Cherry (2022).
