The 1881 fragrance line — named for the founding year — captures the house’s ethos: refined, understated, and unapologetically European. The Experience
A crisp, aromatic opening of lavender, juniper and cypress, sharpened by bergamot and the green bite of galbanum. Carnation and elemi add a clean, peppery spice. The heart softens with vetiver, rose, ylang-ylang and a touch of lily-of-the-valley, keeping things fresh rather than sweet. It dries down to a classic woody base of cedar, sandalwood, pine and oakmoss with a mossy, earthy finish. Clean and understated, it is easy to wear to the office or on warm days, all year round.

Longevity
As an EDT, expect 5–7 hours with moderate projection strongest in the first two hours. The 200ml bottle makes this a comfortable daily-wear luxury. Performance varies with skin type and humidity.
