Parfums de Marly, founded in 2009 in France by Julien Sprecher, draws inspiration from the opulence of King Louis XV's 18th-century Château de Marly, crafting unapologetically royal fragrances.
Opens with warm cinnamon and cardamom brightened by bergamot and a soft touch of orange blossom. The heart is rich bourbon vanilla, lifted by the light, resinous sparkle of elemi. As it dries down, praline, candied almond and tonka add a gourmand sweetness, while musk, ambroxan and guaiac wood give a smooth, powdery depth. Lovely for winter evenings, date nights and festive celebrations, it leaves a cosy, inviting trail on cool nights.
