The Experience
The opening is deliberately unusual — mugwort's herbal bitterness and carrot seed alongside bergamot and cardamom, with coconut providing a creamy tropical thread. It is not a safe or easy opening; it demands patience. The floral heart — jasmine, freesia, orris and lily of the valley with cinnamon — is rich and dense, leaning romantic and slightly powdery. The base is where Hawas Exotic finds its character: cypriol (a dark, smoky Indian grass) alongside labdanum, benzoin and ambergris creates a deep, incense-inflected oriental close that lasts for hours. Not blind-buy safe — but extraordinary for those who love complex, evolving oriental compositions.
Ideal Occasion
Office to evening, year-round.
