Vilhelm Parfumerie, founded in 2015 in New York by Jan Vilhelm Ahlgren, is a storytelling niche house drawing inspiration from art, music, and urban poetry.
Opens with glowing saffron and a crackle of pink pepper, warm and spicy from the first spray. The heart brings supple leather softened by a thread of rose oil, giving it a dark, slightly animalic richness. As it dries down, oud, earthy vetiver and dry cedar build a deep woody base with a cool, almost metallic edge. It feels bold, smoky in mood and confident.
