About Christophe Raynaud
Christophe Raynaud is a perfumer at Givaudan who trained at the ISIPCA perfumery school. Before Givaudan he worked with Créations Aromatiques, Drom, Symrise and Quest. He wanted to be a perfumer from a young age. As a teenager he dreamed of starting a clothing and perfume brand with a childhood friend.
Raynaud calls himself a craftsman with the sensitivity of an artist. He describes shaping a fragrance over many hours, aiming for presence and radiance. He co-created Rabanne 1 Million (2008), his most widely known work. His other credits include Lancôme La Nuit Trésor (2015), Mugler Aura (2017) and Jean Paul Gaultier Scandal (2017). More recently he worked on Yves Saint Laurent MYSLF (2023) and Carolina Herrera Good Girl Blush (2023).
