About Guillaume Flavigny
Guillaume Flavigny is a French perfumer at Givaudan, based in Paris. He studied chemistry, then trained at ISIPCA and the Givaudan Perfumery School. He joined Givaudan's fine fragrance team at the age of 27. In 2002 he won the Prix International du Jeune Parfumeur Créateur. Fragrantica lists around 90 perfumes by him.
His work is often experimental, using new materials and unusual combinations. Early landmarks are Balmain Ambre Gris (2008) and Comme des Garçons Black (2013). He created Initio Divine Attraction (2015) and Elizabeth Arden White Tea (2017), followed by White Tea Wild Rose (2019). Other well-known credits are Valentino Uomo Born in Roma (2019), Montblanc Signature (2020) and Tom Ford Rose Prick (2020).
Guillaume Flavigny created Valentino Uomo Born in Roma, Montblanc Signature, Tom Ford Rose Prick and Elizabeth Arden White Tea and White Tea Wild Rose. He also made Initio Divine Attraction, Balmain Ambre Gris and Comme des Garçons Black.
