About Claire Liégent
Claire Liégent is a perfumer at Takasago who trained at ISIPCA. Before Takasago she worked with LMR and IFF. Fragrantica credits her with more than 80 perfumes across about 45 brands. Her clients include Yves Saint Laurent, Giorgio Armani, Lancôme, Givenchy, Issey Miyake and Ralph Lauren.
Much of her best-known work is in fresh, polished men's scents for major designer houses. She co-created Yves Saint Laurent Y (2017) and Y Eau de Parfum (2018), and has worked on several later Y versions. She also made Ralph Lauren Ralph's Club (2021) and Yves Saint Laurent Babycat (2022). Other credits include Carolina Herrera CH Privée (2017) and Issey Miyake L'Eau d'Issey Pure Pétale de Nectar (2019).
