About Bruno Jovanovic

Bruno Jovanovic is a French perfumer at dsm-firmenich. He holds a degree in physics and chemistry from Université Pierre et Marie Curie. He then graduated from the ISIPCA perfumery school. He spent twenty years at IFF, from 2001 to 2021, working between New York and Paris.

He aims for simplicity and clarity, using few raw materials so a scent is instantly recognisable. His motto, borrowed from Kant, is that beauty is universal and has no concept. He created Rabanne Lady Million (2010) and Hugo Boss Boss The Scent (2015), along with several of its flankers. For Frederic Malle he composed Dries Van Noten (2013) and Monsieur (2015). His other well-known works include Coach for Men (2017), Giorgio Armani My Way (2020) and Prada Paradigme (2025).
