About Amandine Clerc-Marie
Amandine Clerc-Marie is a French perfumer born in Grasse and a Principal Perfumer at dsm-firmenich. She trained at ISIPCA in Versailles. She worked with perfumer Michel Almairac for more than ten years. She joined Firmenich in 2011 and has created for Lancôme, Mugler, Van Cleef & Arpels and Yves Saint Laurent.
Her style is elegant and modern, and she draws on movement, colours and shapes. Her best-known creation is the Chloé Eau de Parfum (2008). She also made Van Cleef & Arpels Precious Oud (2011) and Atkinsons Oud Save the King (2013). Her later hits include Lancôme La Nuit Trésor (2015) and Mugler Aura (2017). Recent work includes Valentino Donna Born in Roma Intense (2023), Burberry Goddess (2023) and Lancôme La Nuit Trésor Vanille Noire (2025).
