About Sidonie Lancesseur
Sidonie Lancesseur is a French perfumer at Robertet. After a summer internship at Robertet in Grasse, she studied at ISIPCA in Versailles. She joined Robertet as an assistant perfumer in 2004 and became a perfumer two years later, mentored by Michel Almairac. Childhood holidays in the French countryside shaped her love of natural materials. Her portfolio now runs to more than 80 fragrances.
She is known for short, minimalist formulas that lean on natural materials and woody notes such as patchouli and vetiver. Much of her best-known work is for Kilian, starting with Straight to Heaven (2007). She also created Kilian Apple Brandy (2013), Vodka on the Rocks (2014) and Black Phantom (2017). Other credits include Zadig & Voltaire This Is Her! (2016) and Van Cleef & Arpels Bois d'Amande (2020).
