About Cécile Zarokian
Cécile Zarokian is a French independent perfumer based in Paris. She left medical school to study perfumery and earned a master's degree from ISIPCA. She then trained for four years at Robertet under Michel Almairac. There she composed her debut, Amouage Epic Woman (2009). In 2011 she founded her own company and laboratory in Paris.
She has worked closely with Amouage, creating more than ten fragrances for the house. They include Opus XIV Royal Tobacco (2022) and Outlands (2024). Her best-known niche work is Nishane Ani (2019), followed by Nanshe (2020) and Ani X (2023). She has also created for Jovoy Paris, Parfums MDCI and Masque Milano. Her portfolio runs to more than 80 exclusive scents.
Cécile Zarokian created Amouage Epic Woman (2009), Opus XIV Royal Tobacco (2022) and Outlands (2024). For Nishane she made Ani (2019), Nanshe (2020) and Ani X (2023). She also created Jovoy Private Label (2011).
