About Meabh McCurtin
Meabh McCurtin is an Irish perfumer at IFF in Paris, originally from County Clare. She took a biochemistry degree at the National University of Ireland in Galway and studied further at the École normale supérieure in Lyon. She trained as a perfumer at IFF under the mentorship of Dominique Ropion. Early on she co-created Róisín Dubh for the Galway perfumer Cloon Keen Atelier.
Her portfolio now covers more than 25 fragrances for niche and designer brands. She has created several scents for Vyrao, including The Sixth (2022) and Mamajuju (2024). Her designer work includes Montblanc Signature Absolue (2023) and Maison Margiela Under the Stars (2023). She also composed Ellis Brooklyn Bee (2021) and French Avenue Coconut Leche (2025).
