About Geza Schoen
Geza Schoen is a German perfumer born in Kassel. He collected men's fragrance samples from the age of 13. He studied chemistry at the University of Heidelberg, then began perfumery training at Haarmann & Reimer, now Symrise, in Holzminden in the early 1990s. He has since worked as an independent perfumer. In 2006 he founded Escentric Molecules.
His best-known idea is Molecule 01 (2006), a fragrance made entirely of the aroma chemical Iso E Super. It showed how a single material can smell different on each wearer. He has worked closely with Linda Pilkington of Ormonde Jayne on Ormonde Man, Ormonde Woman and Champaca. He also created Clive Christian X for Men and co-founded Project Renegades with Mark Buxton and Bertrand Duchaufour.
Geza Schoen created Escentric Molecules Molecule 01 (2006), built entirely on Iso E Super. He also composed Ormonde Jayne's Ormonde Man, Ormonde Woman and Champaca, plus Clive Christian X for Men.
