About Erwin Creed
Erwin Creed is the seventh generation of the Creed family of perfumers and the son of Olivier Creed. He grew up in Paris around his father's work and joined the family house in his early twenties. He trained directly under his father rather than through a perfumery school. He co-creates and co-supervises new Creed fragrances from the family's base in Fontainebleau, near Paris.
He is involved in sourcing raw materials around the world, such as bergamot from Calabria and jasmine from India. He has co-created some of the house's best-selling scents with his father, including Love in White (2005) and Virgin Island Water (2007). He is also linked to Himalaya (2002) and Fleurs de Gardenia. Fragrance databases credit him alongside Olivier on Aventus (2010).
