About Emilio Valeros
Emilio Valeros was the in-house perfumer of Loewe, the Spanish luxury house founded in 1846, for more than 20 years. Loewe credits him with signature fragrances including Solo Loewe and Aura Loewe. In 2019 Nuria Cruelles succeeded him as the house perfumer. His Loewe credits stretch from Esencia Femme in 2002 to the 001 pair in 2016.
Valeros worked across the whole Loewe range, from fresh sport scents to richer evening fragrances. Solo Loewe (2004) and Quizás, Quizás, Quizás (2007) are among his best-known launches. In 2012 he created the Un Paseo por Madrid collection. It includes Atardecer en los Jardines del Buen Retiro and El Cielo sobre la Plaza de Oriente. He also composed Loewe 7 (2010), Aura (2013) and 001 Woman (2016).
