About Anne-Sophie Behaghel
Anne-Sophie Behaghel is a Paris-based perfumer who trained at Cinquième Sens, a perfume creation and training company. She worked as a personal care evaluator at Symrise and as a fine fragrance account manager at Firmenich. In 2013 she co-founded Flair Paris, an independent fragrance creation studio, with Amélie Bourgeois. Fragrantica lists more than 150 of her perfumes.
Behaghel says she loves cold materials and often takes austere, metallic angles. Her Nevermore for Frapin (2014) set rose oxide, saffron, Atlas cedar and ambroxan against a warm leathery base. She has composed widely for niche houses, including Parfumerie Particulière and Les Liquides Imaginaires. Other notable works include MDCI Le Barbier de Tanger (2016), BDK Sel d'Argent (2020) and Alexandre.J The Majestic Vanilla (2020).
Anne-Sophie Behaghel created Frapin Nevermore (2014), Les Liquides Imaginaires Phantasma (2014), MDCI Le Barbier de Tanger (2016), BDK Sel d'Argent (2020) and Alexandre.J The Majestic Vanilla (2020), among more than 150 fragrances.
