About Amelie Jacquin
Amélie Jacquin is a French perfumer who grew up in Grasse, surrounded by jasmine, rose, lavender and oleander. Her mother helped introduce her to these scents. She is now based in Paris. Parfumo credits her with more than 30 fragrances, across niche houses and designer brands.
She draws on travel and curiosity, and turns visual impressions into scent. A restaurant's atmosphere or the colours of an exhibition can become the starting point. Her compositions favour unexpected accords. Known works include Bohemian Lime (2020) and Island Lush for Goldfield & Banks. She also created Rock the Myrrh and Santal Greenery for Dries Van Noten (2022), and Via della Spiga for Trussardi (2020).
