Chergui is one of Serge Lutens' most beloved and distinctive creations — named after a hot Saharan wind. It opens on a golden, glowing warmth of rich honey and powdery iris before a mesmerising heart of sweet hay, tobacco leaf and rose unfolds, dry and enveloping. The drydown of creamy sandalwood, amber and a curl of incense gives it a resinous, almost hypnotic depth.
