Bvlgari Aqva Amara EDT 50 ml
From a small silversmith's workshop in Rome's Via Sistina in 1884, Sotirios Voulgaris built what would become one of Italy's most celebrated luxury houses. Bvlgari's fragrances carry that same Roman DNA — classical in structure, modern in expression. The Aqva collection draws directly from the Mediterranean's edge; Aqva Amara takes it deeper, into sun-bright Sicilian citrus and dark, resinous water.

The Experience
Aqva Amara opens with Sicilian mandarin — luminous and tart, brighter and more precise than ordinary citrus, carrying the particular sunshine of the Italian south. The heart pivots into an aquatic accord threaded with neroli: watery and airy on the surface, but with neroli's floral-bitter edge preventing it from feeling anonymous. The base is where Aqva Amara earns its character — olibanum brings a dry, slightly smoky incense quality, while Indonesian patchouli leaf grounds the composition with an earthy density. Together they make this a Woody Aquatic rather than a simple fresh fragrance: Mediterranean brightness over a dark, resinous core.
Ideal Occasion
Morning wear, gym-to-office transitions, hot-weather travel, seaside occasions. A fragrance for the active and the unhurried simultaneously. Best in warm months.
Longevity
As an EDT, expect 5–7 hours with strong initial projection that mellows into a close-wearing dry-down. The 50ml size is ideal for travel. Performance varies with skin type and ambient temperature.
