Missoni

Ottavio and Rosita Missoni founded their fashion house in Gallarate, near Milan in 1953, beginning as a sportswear company making knitted tracksuits before Ottavio's participation in the 1948 London Olympics as a track athlete gave them an unexpected fashion opportunity. Their signature zigzag, flame, and geometric knitting patterns — executed in extraordinary colour combinations that drew on Arte Povera, Bauhaus, and the artistic avant-garde — became one of the most recognisable aesthetic identities in Italian fashion. Luca Missoni leads the brand today. The fragrance programme, managed through a Eurocosmesi licensing partnership, translates the Missoni aesthetic into olfactive identity.

Missoni fragrances are created with the same joyful, colour-forward philosophy as their fashion. Missoni EDP Pour Femme (2015) — bergamot, mandarin, violet, rose, iris, cedarwood, musk, and amber — is a vibrant floral-woody that captures the brand's colourful, geometric exuberance in olfactive form. Missoni Pour Homme (2016), using cardamom, bergamot, incense, sandalwood, and amber, provides a warmer, more sophisticated masculine direction.

Missoni EDP Pour Femme (2015) is the house's most commercially successful fragrance — a vibrant, floral-woody composition that mirrors the brand's signature colour energy. Its violet-rose-iris structure is simultaneously Italian and geometric in character — familiar floral DNA reinterpreted with the same angular boldness as a Missoni zigzag pattern. The distinctive chevron-pattern bottle is immediately recognisable as a Missoni product.

Missoni occupies accessible luxury — EDPs from €55-€80 — with Italian knitwear heritage and distinctive visual identity that give the fragrance programme genuine Italian artisanal character.
