Jacques Bogart

Jacques Bogart is a Parisian fragrance house with a heritage dating to 1975, known for producing high-quality masculines and feminines at accessible prices that consistently outperform their price bracket in composition quality and longevity. Named in a nod to the legendary Hollywood actor Humphrey Bogart — whose 1942 film Casablanca has become one of cinema's most enduring cultural touchstones — the house cultivates a timeless, film noir aesthetic that informs their compositions.

One Man Show (1980) is Jacques Bogart's most celebrated composition — a bold, woody-spicy masculine of bergamot, basil, galbanum, tobacco, leather, and amber that became a genuine classic of accessible French masculinity in the 1980s-90s. Its longevity and projection consistently exceed expectations for the price. Silver Scent (2006) brought a fresher, more contemporary citrus-woods direction for a new generation.

One Man Show (1980) remains the house's defining masculine — a bold, tobacco-leather-amber composition of impressive quality that represents one of the finest values in accessible French masculine fragrance. Silver Scent (2006) and subsequent extensions provide contemporary counterpoints. Jacques Bogart Pour Homme (original) offered a different aromatic direction for those preferring cleaner compositions.

Jacques Bogart occupies accessible entry prestige — EDTs from €20-€45 — with a French masculine heritage and consistently above-average quality providing outstanding value for fragrance enthusiasts.
