Tiffany & Co.

Tiffany & Co. was founded in New York City in 1837 by Charles Lewis Tiffany and John B. Young — initially as a stationery and fancy goods store before pivoting definitively to fine jewellery as Tiffany's taste and business acumen recognised where their future lay. The house became globally famous for their iconic Tiffany Blue packaging (a colour so distinctive it is trademarked), the Tiffany Setting engagement ring (1886, the first to elevate the diamond above the band), and Audrey Hepburn's appearance outside their Fifth Avenue flagship in Breakfast at Tiffany's (1961). LVMH acquired Tiffany & Co. in 2021 for $15.8 billion — the largest luxury acquisition in history. The fragrance programme, launched in 2017, translated the house's aesthetic values — cool blue elegance, New York sophistication, precious material quality — into modern feminine and masculine compositions.

Tiffany & Co. EDP (2017), created by Daniela Andrier — who also created Prada Infusion d'Iris and Bottega Veneta's original EDP — uses iris, hedione, musks, and woods to capture the cool, precise elegance of Tiffany's Blue Box in scent form. Andrier's signature minimalist approach — building maximum effect around a single precious ingredient — is perfectly aligned with the Tiffany aesthetic of restraint as the highest form of luxury.

Tiffany & Co. EDP (2017) is the house's defining feminine — a cool iris-musk composition of exceptional precision that captures the Tiffany aesthetic: New York cool, precious material restraint, blue-sky clarity. Daniela Andrier's work for Tiffany is consistent with her Prada Infusion d'Iris — architectural, demanding, and genuinely beautiful. Tiffany & Love (2021) introduced a warmer, more romantic direction with sandalwood and musk for a younger audience.

Tiffany & Co. occupies premium accessible luxury — EDPs from €90-€140 — with one of the world's most recognised luxury brand identities giving their fragrances immediate aspirational appeal.
